1. The short version
Every purchase comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, once per customer. If DeclutrMail isn’t working out, tell us within 14 days of being charged and we’ll refund that charge in full. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
2. Cancellation
Canceling on its own doesn’t trigger a refund. If you also want your money back, the 14-day guarantee in Section 3 covers it.
3. 14-day money-back guarantee
Refund requests made within 14 days of a charge (your first purchase, a renewal or a Backlog Pass) are refunded in full. This applies to every paid plan.
If we refund a Backlog Pass, its 30 days of Plus end when the refund is confirmed and your account returns to Free. Email you already cleared stays where you put it.
For a full refund of your purchase or renewal charge, subscription access ends when the payment provider confirms the refund or the refund-review access deadline is reached, whichever comes first, and your account moves to the Free plan unless a separate complimentary grant applies — this is the one way it differs from canceling, which keeps your features until the end of the period you paid for (Section 2). Your data is untouched either way, and nothing stops you subscribing again later.
A full refund of only a Paddle upgrade charge reverses that upgrade instead of ending the whole subscription. The reversal preserves the remaining access and original renewal terms of your previously paid plan; it does not refund that plan’s charge. If we cannot confirm the reversal, Billing asks you to contact support and shows your currently verified access while we review it.
The money-back guarantee can be used once per customer. Statutory refund rights in your country (for example, EU consumer withdrawal rights) are not limited by this policy.
4. Purchases outside India (Paddle)
If you purchased outside India, your payment was processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to it. You can request a refund either from us directly (support@declutrmail.com) or from Paddle via the receipt email they sent you.
5. Purchases in India
New purchases in India go through Paddle, in rupees with GST included, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply. If you bought through Razorpay before, DeclutrMail is your seller: request a refund from us at support@declutrmail.com and approved refunds go back through Razorpay to your original payment method.
6. What is not refundable
- Charges older than the 14-day guarantee window in Section 3, except where law requires.
- A second use of the money-back guarantee. It can be used once per customer.
- Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service (abuse, unlawful use).
7. How to request a refund
Yes. Ask within 14 days of any charge and we refund it in full, once per customer. Email support@declutrmail.com with “refund” in the subject.
